Sjtaek en Sjnie 2025

On Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd of June, 2025, Historisch Schermgilde Limburg proudly presents its very first tournament focused on Rapier and Sabre: Sjtaek en Sjnie – Limburgish for “Stab and Slash.” Two days filled with fencing, workshops, and good company.

Held at the Jo Gerrishal in Roermond, we’re bringing together fencers from across the region and beyond for a weekend where technique, sportsmanship, and a generous dose of Limburgian hospitality come together.

Saturday will feature the main tournaments in the Rapier and Sabre disciplines. On Sunday, we continue with a dedicated Rapier & Dagger tournament, as well as a range of workshops, including ones by Mykhaylo Skorobogatov and Max van den Ekart.
